Microsoft is keeping pursuing AR, and in fact, part of the resources that were devoted to HoloLens 3 are now dedicated to what is known as project Bondi, which is the AR glasses that Microsoft is building with Samsung. Virtual worlds then and now Funny link. We are not supporting eye tracking or biometrics for this closed beta.
