This week, Strivr announced that its enterprise-grade VR training service reached an “industry record-setting milestone” of roughly 2 million sessions launched across its client base.

The service provider, which Fortune 1000 customers commonly employ, has achieved its landmark thanks to a rise in the adoption of immersive training services in the workplace and Strivr’s own innovations in integrated AI features.

According to the firm, the achievement marks Strivr’s vision of optimising immersive training and driving enterprise XR adoption.

Derek Belch, the CEO of Strivr, noted:

With significant innovation taking place across the ecosystem of immersive tech, we are truly witnessing the cheaper, lighter, faster era of VR. In parallel, business leaders continue to grapple with upskilling and reskilling their workforce, while figuring out how to do more with less. With VR becoming more accessible than ever given new hardware options, premium content offerings, and new AI advancements, we can address these challenges today by elevating performance of both the workforce and the bottom line.

Strivr also noted that an increase in XR hardware options, such as those available via Apple, HTC VIVE, Meta, and others, is creating a “resurgence” of enterprise interest in immersive training – painting another optimistic forecast for workplace XR in what may be a momentous 2024 for the industry.

Strivr AI Innovations

The firm notes that part of its milestone became achievable thanks to Strivr’s recent AI innovations.

Strivr is leveraging large language models to create genAI features that accelerate the costly creation of immersive training content.

Moreover, Strivr recently introduced AI-powered conversations, allowing trainers to include dynamic dialogue in bespoke training experiences, creating a deeper level of immersion for individual learners.

Josh Bersin, a Global Industry Analyst and the CEO of The Josh Bersin Company, added:

With its end-to-end platform offering that provides hands-on training in a 3D immersive environment, Strivr has pioneered the deployment of enterprise VR at scale. The solution is now proven in leading retailers, banks, and manufacturing companies. As a device-agnostic platform, Strivr is likely to stay ahead of the curve in the industry and looks to lead the way with its use of Generative AI – from accelerating content development to the efficacy of interactive virtual experiences.

An Era of Enterprise Success

Moreover, to highlight its success story of 2 million sessions, Strivr is celebrating success with major enterprise end users such as Walmart and Bank of America. More recently, the VR training firm worked with retail firm Woolworths to provide VR training to over 40,000 employees.

The case study shows how significant businesses are leveraging XR at scale today. With procedures such as customer safety and de-escalation training, Strivr’s VR suite can provide an efficient, immersive alternative to traditional training methods.

Immersive training alternatives from Strivr prove its performance excellence over traditional methods by way of recognition from groups such as the Brandon Hall’s Excellence Awards Program,

Moreover, Start Beyond partnered with Strivr to scale its immersive platform for APAC end users in August. Start Beyond has joined forces with Strivr through its Partner Program, which seeks to identify immersive industry expert firms accelerating adoption rates of VR training.

Start Beyond collaborates with Strivr to incorporate its immersive storytelling and enhance training opportunities for the latter’s SDK and distribution platform. With its expertise in the field, Start Beyond will provide Strivr clients with immersive experiential learning applications to enhance training outcomes.

According to Angus Stevens, Co-founder and CEO of Start Beyond, AR and VR training simulations are “much more effective than traditional learning.” The CEO also stated that it’s not surprising to see leading national companies adopting this technology as their preferred training method.

Through its partnership with Strivr, Start Beyond aims to offer enterprise clients a range of benefits, including reduced onboarding times, faster staff proficiency, and lower training costs. According to Stevens, the partnership leverages the expertise of both companies to create innovative solutions and drive positive outcomes for their clients.

The Start Beyond alliance comes via Strivr’s partner program, which Derek Belch calls an “ecosystem of like-minded partners” who share his firm’s passion for working “with some of the largest companies in the world.”

Strivr’s VR training software development kit (SDK) is a widely used tool by Fortune 1000 companies to create training programs for various enterprise verticals. With a diverse range of products and clients, Strivr is emerging as a leading provider of VR training in 2024. Additionally, the company partnered with the XR Association last year to promote the further adoption of enterprise-grade XR technology, linking them tightly with the community as it surges.
