HTC Vive releases Cosmos Elite, two models of Vive Pro Eye and creates some confusion. For sure you remember the recent launch of a full line of Vive Cosmos headsets , all with customized faceplates.

Of course, Microsoft and Amazon are observing the situation: in my opinion, Microsoft will wait a bit , considering its focus on AR enterprise with HoloLens, while Amazon could improve its already existing offering of glasses connected with Alexa. I just got back from Lisbon, where I attended AWE Europe. No grey zones like HTC did in the past. In fact, at launch, it won’t even be possible to create Unity content for it. If you don’t have enough of this stuff, Amazon is your friend. This year I had been invited to top-tier events like MWC, GDC, XR Europe and I was overly happy going there. Also now there will be interesting events in VR, like HTC’s VEC that will happen inside ENGAGE.
