The collaboration between Microsoft and Samsung is now over. Some months ago, some important magazines leaked that Microsoft might have abandoned the HoloLens project. According to a new leak, Microsoft scrapped the plans for a HoloLens 3, and also the collaboration with Samsung has been brought to an end.

After one month from its official announcement, Facebook has released the Oculus Quest 2, that from the 13th of this month can be purchased online on the Oculus Store or on official resellers (like Amazon) or offline on partner stores (like Best Buy). Regarding the glasses, I have not big hopes for true AR glasses, but I think that thanks to Facebook and Apple, finally we’ll have some important smartglasses entering the market , making the mainstream think about wearing something on their face to enjoy notifications from the phone. Phone AR will be always more popular.
