According to a report by Bloomberg, Oculus is working on a new Oculus Quest model, and it has already done prototypes that are lighter and more powerful than the current device. Investments in AR/VR companies are at 2013 level.

Meanwhile, heftier VR products from Facebook’s Oculus and Magic Leap have mostly been for gamers.

ZeniMax sued Oculus, Facebook, and well-known virtual reality leaders John Carmack and Palmer Luckey for misappropriating trade secrets after Carmack left ZeniMax’s id Software and went to work at Oculus.
