Foldable smartphones aren't exactly new anymore – it's been three years since Samsung released the original Galaxy Fold – but they're still exciting, mostly because we're all still wondering whether some smartphone maker can do something fresh with the concept.

Next in line to show us what it can do is China's Vivo, whose first foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold, will launch on April 11.

We don't know the device's full specs yet, but we now have a pretty good idea of what it'll look like, thanks to a teaser video posted by Vivo on Chinese social network Weibo. In the video, we see the phone folded, clad in what looks like blue leather, with a massive, Zeiss-branded, quad rear camera module on the back.

We also get a glimpse of the phone fully unfolded, and it looks just like you'd imagine: a very large screen.

We don't have anything official about the rest of the specs, but rumors say the phone will have an 8-inch OLED display when fully unfolded, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Getn 1 chip, fast, 66W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging. As for that rear camera setup, it's likely to have a 50/48/12/8-megapixel sensor, with the last one being attached to a periscope lens capable of 5x zoom.

Besides the phone, Vivo also appears to be launching a tablet on April 11.
