The Meta Quest v65 system software update is starting to roll out. The Quest v65 update lets you easily view panoramas captured by your iPhone, brings passthrough to all system UI panels, lets any iPhone upload spatial videos, and prevents hand tracking from interfering with mouse and keyboard usage.

Quest 2 and Quest 3 now have an "experimental" Travel Mode for use on airplanes. Meta says you need to be on stable (not PTC) system software v65 to see this and should restart your headset if you still don't. Note that Quest Pro isn't supported, only Quest 2 and Quest 3.

Horizon OS will be licensed to third-party headsets, Quest will remove App Lab , Quest v65 was released, Meta is creating a " Spatial OS framework ," while Ray-Ban Meta Glasses added visual AI. Originally built for Quest, it now supports "any platform capable of providing skeletal hand tracking data."
