Microsoft and Samsung may be partnering for an AR device. According to Korean media, Samsung Electronics is working with Microsoft on a new augmented/mixed reality project “involving HoloLens”. Samsung is one of the most famous suppliers of components for electronic devices (e.g. Samsung Odyssey+).

Oculus Go price cut down to $150. Facebook has permanently cut down the price of the Oculus Go to $150 , the same price that made it sell incredibly well on Amazon during the Cyber Monday. Magic Leap finally dropped to mixed reviews and BrainXchange published its Definitive Guide to Adopting Wearables, AR and VR in Enterprise. Just three months ago, the company revealed it’s putting 17,000 Oculus Go headsets in Walmart stores for employee training. The company’s direction is unclear. Body-worn.

Anyway, officially, both Samsung and Oculus have continued at least to support it. This means that all new devices by Samsung won’t support Gear VR, that is so condemned to die.

When the first consumer version of the Oculus Rift was launched in the spring, it was disappointingly bundled with a Microsoft Xbox controller – and we’ve eagerly been awaiting the native Touch Controllers. In my opinion , the true error is with the Vive 1 , that will get a price that is higher than the one of all the competitors… and that will cost as much as a Samsung Odyssey, notwithstanding its far lower features. Oculus Go showcased. The Oculus Go (Image by Oculus). Vive Focus comes to the west.
