Chinese manufacturers BOE and SeeYA may provide cheaper displays in higher quantities than Sony is doing now, while Samsung may be supplying the DRAM components. According to a recent report, the successor of the first Vision Pro may come in 2026 and have a price comprised between $1500 and $2500.

HTC predicts the rise of all-in-two devices. Speaking with Upload VR, HTC VIVE EMEA General Manager Graham Wheeler has predicted for 2021 the rise of all-in-two devices, that is lightweight viewers that are connected to smartphones (or also PCs sometimes). But this news is interesting because it shows HTC’s views on the topic.

We don’t think so and believe that in the next couple of years major organizations such as Sony and HTC will start producing advertisements to be shown in virtual reality. This is proven by the fact that in a 2015 study, 72% of millennials said that an experience is more important than having physical items.

HTC announces Vive Pro Secure. It would be very intriguing….

Last month, we got to know that (according to a rumor) Samsung is working together with Microsoft on new AR glasses, most probably powered by a Qualcomm chipset. Samsung has apparently completed a prototype, and “is deciding the release date”.
