A new FCC listing appears for an HTC Vive headset. And in fact, a new request to FCC for a new device has arrived from HTC. FCC certifications are requested before releasing an electronic device in the US (to certify that it is safe to be used), so this is a clear sign that HTC is going to release a new headset soon.

Watching it, I had serious AR-Cloud vibes (most probably powered also by the technology of 6d.ai that Niantic acquired), and the fact that Niantic is working with telco operators to support 5G is an indicator that the company wants also to dominate this technology. Microsoft signs a $22B deal with the US Army.

What an exciting week for technology, with the Facebook Connect, PS5 price announcement, Apple event and the release of RTX30 graphics cards! Leap Motion released a second sensor some years later, but as Alex Colgan revealed me , it was not intended for sale , but only for integration in other headsets. What a time to be alive!
