Further, using traditional Vive Trackers with headsets that don't use SteamVR Tracking requires a manual calibration process, as does using Vive Ultimate Trackers with headsets other than HTC Vive standalone headsets. And emulated Vive Trackers isn't the only new feature in this Virtual Desktop update.

A new FCC listing appears for an HTC Vive headset. And in fact, a new request to FCC for a new device has arrived from HTC. FCC certifications are requested before releasing an electronic device in the US (to certify that it is safe to be used), so this is a clear sign that HTC is going to release a new headset soon.

XR headset manufacturer HTC VIVE has debuted its VIVE Ultimate Tracker, which will offer users multiple vantage points for body tracking, Shen Ye, Global Head of Product, HTC VIVE announced in a blog post on Wednesday. Additional specs include proprietary, low-latency 2.4 by featuring flat, lightweight frames.

In June 2016, we finished multiple Unity Demos to demonstrate what Dexmo is capable of. For example we tried to use the tracking coordinates that Hololens API provided, and that doesn’t even require the setup of lighthouse. We built some Unity plugins that is somewhat similar to the Vive. And our SDK was finally finalized.
