Google unveils Starline communication solution. At Google I/O, Google has announced Project Starline, an interesting project it has worked on for five years. It is about creating a bridge between two distant people. It feels like magic. I think it can become just the nth XR project that Google will abandon.

It is a big showcase demo for its Unreal Engine 5, and I have to say it is pretty impressive. This gives more power to Google Glass, that are not doing that bad in the enterprise environment after a total disaster as a prosumer device. Finally, Google will release the AR features of Google Maps for all the Android and iOS smartphones that support ARCore or ARKit.
