In 2015 my girlfriend came with a Cardboard and with no experience with Unity I created my first 360 photo which I’ve shown to my manger. In a reverse engineering exercise, two students at Utah State University have hacked positional tracking onto a Gear VR headset using SteamVR Tracking technology.
