The report talks about Samsung wanting to target the $1000–2000 range, which in my opinion risks being neither expensive nor affordable.

Unreal Engine 5 may change the rules of game development. Out of nowhere, Epic Games has teased the next version of Unreal Engine, Unreal Engine 5, due to be released in 2021. It means that you can take whatever model, even with billions of polygons, and put it in your Unreal Engine project. Other relevant news.

If you remember well, there’s a scary leaked letter of Mark Zuckerberg where he claims that he doesn’t want to just make programs that run on Android, because they’re subject to the rules of another company (Google). The most viral news of the week has for sure been the one about MetaHuman Creator, a new software for Unreal Engine.

Viveport is improving a lot, and now HTC is also launching the Vive XR Suite , which will be distributed thanks to the support of a strong network of partners like HP, NVIDIA, Baidu (the Chinese Google), and Accenture. The first time that I experienced Sequenced , I had no idea that my gaze directions might have been triggering different branches or small events within the story. Road to VR previously reported that their 10-episode season is due to “arrive on HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR and Google Cardboard starting in early Q4 2016.”
