Between that, I worked on consumer cloud software with Google for five years… managing engineering teams for Gmail, Japanese mobile, Google Labs, and social (Blogger etc.) We also have a small office and a couple of people overseas in Europe and America. I’ve used Google search to find all the pages with references to Del Mar in the Oculus website, and all the docs are identical to the previous versions. Unity is offering 3 months of Free Learning so that you can sharp your development skills. Google will delay the release of Chrome 81 , the one that should have included WebAR.

A Horizon game is coming for this new headset, and some rumors talk also about Half-Life: Alyx potentially be available in the future; HTC has announced the Vive Wrist Tracker, a 6 DOF tracker for the Vive Focus 3. The only company not much affected by it is HTC, that manufacturers its headsets in Taiwan and not in Mainland China. HTC Vive releases Cosmos Elite, two models of Vive Pro Eye and creates some confusion. For sure you remember the recent launch of a full line of Vive Cosmos headsets , all with customized faceplates.

HTC has finally revealed the price of the Vive Pro : it will cost $799 just to have the headset (no controller and no base stations, so you must already have a Vive 1 kit) and will be available for pre-orders since April, 5th. But, as Road To VR has stated, maybe HTC should have clarified that in all its marketing material.

Also now there will be interesting events in VR, like HTC’s VEC that will happen inside ENGAGE. One of the saddest consequences of this damn virus on my work is that I ‘m seeing lots of events being canceled.
