While many people online continue saying that “3DOF is not VR” or that “We don’t need 3DOF”, as a consultant I can tell you that there are sectors where it is still relevant: education, psychology, training, storytelling. Not a great evolution from Microsoft. According to Samsung, it should come in 2028.
