DAVIGO, the asymmetric VR/PC battle game in testing since 2020, is getting ready to release on Quest and PC VR headsets starting next week. The David vs. Goliath-inspired combat game lets VR players take on the role of a massive giant who must defeat up to four pint-sized PC players armed with rockets. The little knights can run, fly, shoot, and block incoming missiles.

Since mid-2023, firms like Microsoft and Meta moved towards the wordage following the decline of faith towards the initial Metaverse wave towards the start of the year. The industrial Metaverse is simply an umbrella term which includes immersive (VR/AR/MR) digital solutions that support workplace use cases such as remote collaboration, design processes, and training.

Samsung filed a trademark for 'Samsung Glasses' in the UK. The trademark appears on the Intellectual Property Office section of the official UK government website. It was filed by Samsung Electronics on August 21, and officially approved and registered on November 10. When filing a UK trademark companies must specify the product categories they wish it to cover, from an approved prewritten list, and Samsung selected: Virtual reality headsets; Augmented reality headsets; Headphones; Smartphones;

Arken Age promises physics-based combat in a VR sci-fi fantasy world, and it's coming next year on PSVR 2 and PC VR. Developed by VitruviusVR, Arken Age is a single-player adventure from the studio behind Shadow Legend and Mervils. It's set in the Bio-Chasm, a terraformed world created by the Grand Arborist for harvesting energy. Playing a biological alien weapon, you must investigate the Grand Arborist's disappearance, working with the Nara race and fighting the usurper, Hyperion.

Using VRChat Credits purchased with real-life money, subscriptions can be bought for one month, three months or a year, granting direct access to subscriber-only content.

Releasing as part of the upcoming Wallace and Gromit in the Grand Getaway experience, Jamtastic! sees you being guided by Wallace through a projection while he's on holiday. Tasked with testing his new ‘jam-to-toast delivery system,’ creators Aardman described this MR experience as being "part shooting gallery and part joyful mess maker.

A tutorial video reveals how you set up EyeSight and your Persona on Apple Vision Pro. Vision Pro is set to be the first headset to ship with a display on the front. It shows a rendered view of your upper face to other people in the room when they're nearby, a feature called EyeSight. When an app is blocking your view of the physical environment, EyeSight shows a translucent colored pattern in front of your virtual eyes, and when you're in a VR app the pattern becomes opaque.
