Meta’s Best-selling VR Headset Drops to $250 in Early Holiday Deal

It’s pretty unlikely we’ll see any deals this year on Meta’s latest and greatest VR standalone, Quest 3. Before the holiday season kicks into gear though, the company is dropping the price of Quest 2 to just $250. Both variants are on sale from now until December 31st, dropping the 128GB version from $300 to $250, and the 256GB version from $350 to $300.

Lunar Tiger”, and to my right three cameras stood in positions very close to the ones we use to record our weekly VR Download podcast. I told Harris to hold on as I started typing messages to my colleague David Heaney on Slack, looking out from the underside of Meta Quest 3 tapping my fingers on the keys.

SK hynix had started volume shipments of its LPDDR5T-9600 memory for high-end smartphones, the company announced this week. So far, the company's LPDDR6 'Turbo' memory with a 9600 MT/s data transfer speed has been certified to work with two range-topping mobile application processors from Qualcomm and MediaTek. SK hynix's LPDDR5T-9600 memory is available in 16 GB packages with a VDD voltage range of 1.01V to 1.12V and a VDDQ of 0.5v.
