Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), the popular American fast food chain, has launched a VR game in Hong Kong, China that transported players to a KFC-inspired world where they could earn real-world fried chicken by completing virtual objectives. The “Bucketverse VR” experience immersed players in a delicious-looking world inspired by modern-day Hong Kong in which they were tasked with collecting virtual fried chicken.

SK hynix Begins Sampling HBM3e, Volume Production Planned For H1 2024

SK hynix on Monday announced that it had completed initial development of its first HBM3E memory stacks, and has begun sampling the memory to a customer. The updated ("extended") version of the high bandwidth memory technology is scheduled to begin shipping in volume in the first half of next year, with hardware vendors such as NVIDIA already lining up to incorporate the memory into their HPC-grade compute products.

Released in 2020 on PC VR, Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond was the first entry in eight years for EA's once-prominent World War 2 FPS series. Developed by Titanfall studio Respawn Entertainment, it reached Quest 2 a year later but now, EA's dropping support for what we consider to be Above and Beyond's best component.

An Apple Vision Pro model was reportedly spotted with 1TB storage. French tech news website iPhoneSoft reports that a source who tried Vision Pro at one of Apple's public developer labs saw the 1TB figure listed as the storage in the device's Settings app. Apple hasn't yet officially announced Vision Pro's storage options, though the company saying the headset will "start at" $3500 strongly suggests multiple storage tiers will be available, as with iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
