The NBA announced it’s expanding the number of games it’s recording for Quest headsets by a wide margin, bringing a ton of 180-degree immersive games to NBA League Pass holders. Games will be available in both through the Xtadium app on Quest and Meta Horizon Worlds —both of which require the NBA League Pass subscription viewing service to access.

Apple reportedly cut full body tracking from Vision Pro "years ago". Vision Pro has downwards-facing cameras, announced as being for hand tracking. Last year The Information's Wayne Ma reported that the headset - still only a rumor at the time - would also use these cameras to track your body, including your legs, but Apple didn't announce this. Magic Leap announced it had appointed Ross Rosenberg, Incoming CEO , as its company Chief Executive on Wednesday, with the newly-appointed executive stepping into his role on 1 November. Peggy Johnson will step down as CEO, allowing Rosenberg to lead the firm as Magic Leap aims to pivot its operations and solutions to the enterprise market. To date, Magic Leap is transforming its business to support the enterprise adoption of its augmented reality (AR) platform technologies, it said at the time.

Vertigo Games finally revealed the release date for its upcoming sequel to Arizona Sunshine (2016) , which is set to bring us back to the dusty post-apocalyptic desert for another tango with the undead hordes. Also: the first gameplay trailer. Arizona Sunshine 2 is slated to launch on all major VR headsets on December 7th, which the studio has confirmed will include a co-op mode as well as single player campaign at launch.

Micron Technology recently announced that its low-power, double-data rate 5X (LPDDR5X) DRAM and Universal Flash Storage (UFS) 3.1 has been qualified for the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 Platform. In October, Micron’s LPDDR5X and UFS 3.1 were upgraded to offer extended reality hardware designers massively accelerated speed and performance while lowering power consumption.
