Butterscotch Varifocal is based on the original Butterscotch prototype Meta revealed last year. The Butterscotch prototypes deliver an angular resolution of 56 pixels per degree (PPD) of your vision, just short of the 60 pixels per degree generally accepted to be what the human eye can discern.
