Rise of the Ghost Lord sees you team up with up to three other players to use a bunch of Ghostbusters tools, such as the famous Proton Pack, your PKE Meter and toss-able traps to track down ghosts and capture them. Some levels end in boss encounters, requiring all hands on deck to focus on targeting specific limbs or areas of the baddie.

Waking up in a laboratory complex, you’re immediately introduced to the game’s narrative design, which is text-based, describing your character’s thoughts in the centre of your vision. It’s a welcome choice in this case, as even the best voice talent would struggle to deliver this questionable script in a convincing manner.

You use the right controller for shooting, while walking over ammo adds it to your inventory. Once your clip is empty, you can push the loose clip back into your gun to reload. When that was still being discussed, we used to select the objects with your hand. Likewise, you can swap between guns with a button press.
