A new FCC listing appears for an HTC Vive headset. And in fact, a new request to FCC for a new device has arrived from HTC. FCC certifications are requested before releasing an electronic device in the US (to certify that it is safe to be used), so this is a clear sign that HTC is going to release a new headset soon.

Back at CES, Oculus announced that Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi would exclusively bring its own branded version of the standalone Oculus Go headset to China. If the Paradise was in China, its name would be Qingdao. HTC has revealed the design of the Vive Cosmos. HTC has finally unveiled some information on the Vive Cosmos. HTC has immediately answered that 899$ is a too high estimate of the price. Stay tuned on my blog for updates about this new adventure of mine.

HTC has finally revealed the price of the Vive Pro : it will cost $799 just to have the headset (no controller and no base stations, so you must already have a Vive 1 kit) and will be available for pre-orders since April, 5th. But, as Road To VR has stated, maybe HTC should have clarified that in all its marketing material.

This year we had the launch of two amazing 6 DOF all-in-one Virtual Reality headsets : the Oculus Quest and the HTC Vive Focus Plus. USB should have OTG enabled; Battery : 3 hours nominal duration; Vive Focus Plus and controllers (Image by HTC). According to some reviewers, the display may also be the same one made by Samsung.

Qualcomm has officially said that this is the chipset that the upcoming Samsung headset is going to employ. But there is not only Samsung: XR2 Gen 2 is going to be integrated also by Immersed’s Visor, a new HTC Vive headset, a YVR headset in China, and a headset that is still undisclosed.
