If the lenses become dark, you don’t see your surroundings anymore, but just the augmentations, and so you have Virtual Reality on an AR glass. When you are in virtual reality, you see the objects closer than they actually are. Kudos to the Asian company for this. In VR the obects appear closer than they are.
