Some weeks ago, a group of 12 indie development studios decided to launch the first bundle dedicated to App Lab experiences for Oculus Quest. The user could buy the bundle and get access to sideloadable versions of the games, with the promise of a free key for when the game would have been approved by Oculus on App Lab.

I’m sorry to say that, but this is probably one of the last nails in the coffin for Virtual Desktop streaming. Apple new interface for the Apple Watch may be a glimpse of future XR interactions.

The shape of the controllers is slightly different than the one of the Oculus Touch, though, and there is a ring that surrounds the wrist of the user. They should guarantee better tracking both for the headset and the controllers; The controllers are smaller and seem a mix between the Oculus Touch and the WMR 1 controllers. I don’t see this device stealing the scene from Oculus, since Oculus is cheaper, but I’m quite sure this new headset will be able to grab a good market share.

Today it’s a great day for virtual reality: at WCVRI conference, HTC has just announced a kit to provide 6 DOF controllers for Vive Focus and has showcased a hands-tracking technology for the Vive Pro ! The city is full of references to Virtual Reality, and so it is like a paradise for us VR enthusiasts.
