Meta is reportedly teaming up with South Korean tech giant LG Electronics to offer up competition to the Apple’s forthcoming Vision Pro mixed reality headset, which is slated to arrive sometime in 2024. Provided the report is true, it seems some very distinct battle lines are being drawn.

The Korea Economic Daily cites "industry sources" as saying that Mark Zuckerberg will meet with the CEO of LG Electronics on Wednesday to finalize the details of the partnership. This will be Zuckerberg's publicly-known trip to South Korea since 2014, when he visited Samsung to finalise the Gear VR smartphone headset partnership.
