Apple has killed its AR glasses project… maybe. A piece of unexpected news has shaken the XR communities this week: according to a report on Digitimes Taiwan, Apple has abandoned its AR/VR glasses project and all the members of the team have been re-allocated in other teams. AR is still alive, Apple will still release its AR glasses.

If it has to be cheap to compete with Oculus, I guess that audio will be normal… Eye Tracking. There are no signs of eye tracking in this headset. But someone spotted a patent by Valve where eye tracking sensors were hidden inside the lens tubes themselves and so are not visible.

I bought my Vive to experiment with 7Invensun eye tracking and I was really enthusiast about trying eye-tracked UX. Leap Motion driver and runtime. Older Apple Cinema displays with devices attached through USB. So, choose your poison wisely. Some of them are: Kinect driver and runtime. ASUS HyStream.
