The first huge leak we had this week was a full unboxing video of the device. This time was not some hotel employees finding some random Quest boxes, but a n anonymous guy uploading the unboxing video on Reddit. The video was later republished by “VR Panda” on Twitter. That’s fantastic news for all Unity XR developers!

Amazon Lumberyard becomes opensource. Amazon has launched some years ago its 3D engine called Lumberyard, derived from Crytek’s Cryengine. Now, in what seems a desperate move to become relevant in a field dominated by Unity and Unreal Engine, it has made this engine opensource with the name Open 3D Engine. x 0.25m x 0.5m.
