PlayStation VR has been the most successful headset until now (if we exclude the crappy mobile viewers), but now it is pretty dated and people were wondering what Sony was going to do. Some people started to think that Sony could have abandoned VR.

The image above, clearly an homage to the legendary Unity Cube , demonstrates the position and orientation of optical sensors across different surfaces of the object… this would ensure that sensors are always available as the object is turned or moved. The AIM controller was a very cool peripheral built for Sony’s PSVR system.

Unity page also confirms that the headset will provide plane detection, so you will be able for instance to detect the walls and the desks in your room.

I like everything that we know on the PSVR 2 device because it is visible that Sony Interactive Entertainment is putting a lot of effort into releasing a high-quality headset that is on par with what the competition is offering.
