The game is very different from its predecessor, and it is less a realistic combat simulator and more an adrenaline multiplayer game, like Unreal Tournament or Quake Arena. Magic Leap may partner with AWS. This partnership with AWS would be a great idea to favor the business use of Magic Leap 1.

A new report from CCS Insight, instead, predicts that this year will be sold 7 million standalone VR headsets , and of course Oculus Quest and Go should make a great part of these devices. Unreal Engine is adding Vulkan support for Oculus Quest and Unity fill follow later on this year. Amazon thinks using AR for its delivery agents.

But it’s an experimental project, so of course, it has issues. Quest 2 recalled from Amazon EU for skin irritation issue. Facebook is working with Amazon to solve all the bureaucratic stuff and we hope that sales can start again soon. Epic Games has sued Nreal because its name is too close to “Unreal”, which is its trademark.
