Last week I have taken part in the WCVRI exhibition in Nanchang, China. It has been the first time for me having a booth in a so distant and different country like China, and I have learned lots of lessons in the process. Let’s start: what are my pieces of advice if you have to showcase your game in China? Food and water.

Image by HTC Vive). HTC launches Vive Focus 3 and Vive Pro 2. In the end, the rumors were correct and HTC launched two headsets at VIVECON: the Vive Pro 2 and the Vive Focus 3 Business Edition. But this device got also some criticism: first of all , HTC has not released new controllers and still sells it with the old Wands.

Someone invokes saviors like Google and Amazon, but even if they managed to succeed, they are other data-harvesting companies , so in any case, we are f**ked. That’s why even Microsoft took Epic’s stances : Microsoft uses UE4 to develop some products also for Apple devices, and this decision hurts also its business.

You have to buy base stations and controllers separately from HTC or Valve. Huawei has launched in China its VR glasses, that will be on sale in China in December for 2999RMB, around $400. Huawei is advertising these glasses as competitors of Oculus Quest and HTC Vive Pro, but don’t get mislead by this.
