The historical moment of the launch of Quest 1 (Image by TechCrunch) Oculus Quest 1 launched in 2019 for $399. And Quest 2 is much cheaper (especially now that has been put at $199): during the last holidays, it outperformed the Quest 3 by a factor 3:1 on Amazon US. I wouldn’t be surprised if this ended in 2028.
