Another leak regarded the release date: an Amazon listing put the availability date of the Quest 3 starting from October, 10th. Development is taking its time, and no glass based on Micro XR is expected to hit the market before 2025. Samsung can be the first partner also on this line of products.

CNBC reports the project is codenamed ‘Orion’, with an estimated launch taking place sometime between 2023 and 2025. The ‘Orion’ project still exists but is a far more advanced AR device along the lines of Magic Leap One or HoloLens 2.
