The SDK will support eye-tracked foveation and fixed foveation (like the one of Oculus Go); The Vive Focus will soon have finger tracking : for every hand, you will be able to have something similar to what Leap Motion offers. A San Francisco-based startup, YUR (pronounced “why you are,”) was founded in early 2019 by Cix Liv and Dilan Shah. The plug-in tracks calories burned while in any VR game or app while using Quest, and also extends to a mobile app that syncs to Apple Health and Google Fit. Image courtesy YUR.

RealMax's AR and VR device with hand tracking by Leap Motion and an epic 102-degree field of view, was used for a multiplayer AR game which involved grabbing fish and knocking over boxes. AWE is a snapshot of a developing industry, though it does not have participation from major players with developer conferences of their own.

Motion tracking is either done by the smartphone’s sensors or built-in headset sensors; thus, there are no cables hindering free movement. The great thing is, one can start for as cheap as fifteen bucks with the simplest headset from Google (Cardboard). Google Daydream View. Google Cardboard. Motion Controller.

Even with the organizers of the event, I have to speak mostly in Chinese (hence my headache) and use a lot of Baidu Fanyi (the Chinese counterpart of Google Translate). This signs seems to say: 2019 World Conference on NO VR INDUSTRY. Leap Motion) on the same headset. No one speaks well in English, seriously.
