A piece of simple news, but a very important one, has hit the AR industry this week: Apple now lets companies add custom buttons (usually the “Buy” one) to AR Quick Look.

My favorite ones have been: Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed that the next PSVR headset will be called PSVR 2 and will feature 2K x 2K per eye, up to 120 Hz framerate, and 110° FOV. New rumors on Apple and Meta devices. This is why companies like Apple, Google, Microsoft and Meta are exploring similar technologies.

Is this really what Apple wants? (Thanks Robert Scoble for this news!). With a surprise move, Facebook has acquired Sanzaru Games, the company behind the best VR game of 2019, Asgard’s Wrath. According to Tipatat Chennavasin, 106 games have made more than $1M in revenue, and half of these titles have come out in 2019.

This seems to hint that the two companies are going to build a new XR headset together, which according to the rumors will be the Quest Pro 2, which would be aimed at competing directly with the Apple Vision Pro. This could be useful to let Meta answer to the movies available on the Apple Vision Pro because of Apple TV.
