Microsoft gained a great early start, but now the Redmond-based tech giant is positioned to play catchup, which historically hasn’t worked out that well. If Microsoft goes in half-cocked, maybe.

Fictional and non-fictional, live-action cinematography and CGI are all acceptable as long as they are compatible with mobile HMD's such as Samsung Gear VR. The festival mainly focuses on VR narratives and documentaries.
