Denzel Washington may have appeared on Desus & Mero primarily to promote his new movie The Tragedy of Macbeth, but that didn't stop him from spending a large chunk of his time taking a gleeful trip down memory lane.

In the clip above the acting legend chats with the Bodega Boys about what it was like growing up in Mount Vernon and the Bronx, starting out as an actor, the changing price of a slice of pizza in New York, and the lessons he learned along the way.

The whole thing feels less like an interview, and more like watching three friends just hanging out and having a laugh together.
