Xbox One is sold out (almost) everywhere — here’s where to get one today

With the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S finally given an official release date and price, now is the perfect time to pick up an Xbox One console before they disappear for good. Microsoft has already announced it will be discontinuing some of its current-gen systems. Both the Xbox One X and Xbox One S All-Digital Edition will cease to be made, making both consoles pretty much impossible to find in the very near future. Luckily, there are still multiple outlets that have the Xbox One S in stock and now is the perfect time to grab one before it’s too late.

Xbox One S

The Xbox One S is the standard console in the series. It bridges the gap between the original Xbox One and the more powerful Xbox One X, offering 4K graphics and HDR visuals for applicable games. It’s also the only system that will continue to be in production, making it massively easier to obtain than the other editions. Looking for one in stock? Digital Trends has a list of every retailer that has one for sale. The list will constantly be updated with best prices, so be sure to keep checking to see if there’s any changes.

  • Xbox One S (1TB) Amazon — $390
  • Xbox One S (1TB) Best Buy — $300
  • Xbox One S (1TB) Newegg — $300
  • Xbox One S (1TB) Target — $300
  • Xbox One S (1TB) Walmart — $300

While it may be possible to find either the Xbox One X or Xbox Series S All-Digital from third-party sellers or independent retailers, they’re often sold at an extortionate price and offer very little extra to what the Xbox One S already offers. We’ve ensured that the prices rounded up are the best that on offer for the console.

This is one of the last ways to get an Xbox Series S delivered by Christmas
dont wait until black friday to buy an xbox series s

Given the large amount of scalping worldwide with gaming consoles right now, we wouldn't blame you for keeping your eyes open for Xbox Series S and X deals to try and get them at a reasonable price. Well, today is your lucky day, and if you really, really hurry, you can grab yourself an Xbox Series S for $389.97, down from $424.97, so you get a $35 savings on the console. This deal is even better because it comes with both an Xbox Pulse Red Wireless Controller and an Xbox Stereo Headset.

The Series S is the younger brother of the Series X, and while not as bulky and with as much under the hood, it's still a great little console to start gaming on. Unlike its bigger brother, the Series S doesn't come with a disc drive for you to pop games or Blu-ray discs into. Instead, it's a "digital-only" console, which is partially why it's cheaper and relies on you having a good internet connection to get your games delivered digitally. It's also much smaller in size, so it's easier to fit in your cabinet if your living room doesn't have the space for a great big box.

If you missed out on an Xbox Series S Cyber Monday deal, there's still time to at least make sure you have the latest console in time for the holidays. Sold out over Cyber Monday at many major retailers, Dell still has stock and that's exactly where you need to head for a shiny new games console. Including a red controller and wired headset, the Xbox Series S was originally priced at $425, but is now down to just $394 for a limited time only. With a savings of $31, this is the prime time to snap it up. Not least because if you order today, you'll have the Xbox Series S within a couple of days. That's far better than other retailers that are completely sold out or promising delivery dates long past the holidays. Here's why the Xbox Series S is worth your time.

The smallest Xbox ever, the Xbox Series S is an impressive console for many users. Sure, if you're comparing Xbox Series X vs. Series S, it's a little scrappy but look at it! It's super tiny and highly portable while still offering many of the benefits of the latest generation of consoles. An all-digital system, you can't use game discs with it but that's not a great loss while Xbox Game Pass exists. With hundreds of games to play through the service, you get to enjoy the best of what Xbox can offer without needing to constantly swap discs.
