It was really interesting to see Microsoft pivot towards enterprise with the HoloLens and I think it was absolutely the right move for them to make Click To Tweet. And while Portland is by no means a backwater, it’s still not a major tech or immersive content hub like LA or San Francisco either.

A developer out of Portland, OR named Javier Davalos has made an Hololens app that utilizes audio feedback for real-world navigation help for the visually impaired. For the legally blind, the eSight 3 is a $10,000 headset that uses high-speed cameras to display an algorithmically-enhanced view of the world in real time.
