Next week, the Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Association (VRARA) will host over 100 speakers from various extended reality (XR) firms to explore new immersive technology innovations and opportunities to match a diverse and emerging industry demand.

The VRARA is hosting its Immerse Global Summit (IGS) Europe event in Savoy Palace At Funchal, Madeira Island, Portugal, between September 28-30.

This event edition also marks the VRARA’s return to in-person exhibitions within the EU.

IGS Europe is a content-driven XR showcase event that brings together its participants in keynotes, developer workshops, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.

Event organisers and featured thought leaders will provide a space for attendees to learn from leading XR companies that will share valuable insight into real-world enterprise-grade immersive technology use cases such as education, marketing, and construction.

During its featured showcases, IGS Europe will also cover emerging XR technologies, including NFTs, crypto, blockchain, cloud computing, gaming, AI, and volumetric capture.

Who is Coming?

IGS Europe is hosting over 100 companies and speakers. The VRARA holds a storied history of bringing together the biggest and the best XR representatives for its yearly Immersive Global Summit Series, and IGS Europe 2022 is no different.

IGS Europe will feature executives from many major XR firms and affiliated industry innovators.

Making up its list of thought leaders includes individuals from key immersive front-runners, including but not limited to Adobe, Google, Lenovo, Unity, Accenture, T-Mobile, Magic Leap, Qualcomm, Sony, HTC VIVE, and Meta.

Event hosts, The VRARA, also secured crucial XR sponsors for the event, such as Lenovo, PwC, and Qualcomm.

The four-day event hosts its speakers in several sessions where featured brands will present exclusive panels and announcements, including a big statement from Lenovo Think Reality for an enterprise-grade Metaverse solution, which will significantly impact remote collaboration and communication.

The IGS Europe schedule includes sessions covering XR in education, immersive storytelling, diversity in the immersive technology sphere, creator economies, and the industrial Metaverse. Additionally, IGS Europe hosts exclusive sessions for its VIP ticket holders.
