Magic Leap – Tried it. Oculus Link – not found a wire to test it yet but it sounds like a dream come true. Vive Cosmos – Tried it. It’s really light and comfortable! Can’t justify buying another PC VR headset right now though. Thought it was ok. Can’t see that it’s worth the price tag though, especially not for educators.

Once cars start driving without a human in the car, something that GM’s Cruise, Waymo (spun out of Google), and others are already doing in San Francisco, California and Phoenix, Arizona, then the car can bring other robots AND let the robots be shared among a number of different houses, which defrays their cost.

Bumpy Road For Magic Leap. Magic Leap then announced it was pivoting towards enterprise customers following damning reports of extremely weak sales. As the year draws to a close, things are looking rather worrisome for what is arguably immersive tech’s most hyped-up company.
