Let’s look back: Early trials: Virgin Atlantic ’s 2014 trial at London Heathrow Airport – in collaboration with SITA – included both Google Glass and the Sony SmartWatch 2. Using the feed from its Day of Operations software (already in use by Helsinki Airport), SITA reproduced the airport operational control center (AOCC) in mixed reality.
