It is the home country of Sony, so PlayStation VR and Meta itself have clearly expressed its interest in penetrating the market. Vive Focus 3 , instead, has just released a new version of the runtime that dramatically improves hands tracking , making it able to track properly also hands that are moving very fast.

It is also the most interesting because it introduces features like eye tracking, hand tracking, and especially a 2280×2280 per-eye resolution display that makes it compelling for professional use. Sony was pushing developers to have hybrid VR games, and Gran Turismo seems to work exactly along these lines.

I honestly hope that also the other vendors will start selling similar modules, because sometimes I really would love my headsets to work even without Wi-Fi…. News worth a mention. Other news.
