The startup is pretty new, in fact, and its owner group is Megadodo, another unknown company that is working on an MMO game about which is difficult to find any information. While Oculus is getting all the glory for the Quest, its competitors are not sleeping. Notwithstanding all this hate, the Oculus Quest 2 is selling very well.

But I hear it is years ahead of what Facebook is building in its Oculus Quest standalone VR headsets.

Yes, the biggest companies were not there with a booth (Oculus will probably target the OC6, HTC the VEC, etc…), but it is the first time that I read the XR news from CES and I dont’ remain surprised. Nothing that will shake the ecosystem. Someone wonders if this may be the Quest killer, and my answer is no.
