I think that, after a year, its specifications don’t sound exceptional anymore and maybe it is better that LG jumps directly to a second generation or that enters the standalone market (as it seems, since there are some rumors about a new revolutionary headset screen developed by Google and LG). Magic Leap releases its SDK.

It isn’t alone, we know of many companies that are spending billions on same, including Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Sony, Magic Leap, Huawei, and others. Literally everyone in the industry other than Magic Leap and Apple uses Qualcomm’s spatial computing tech stack). They must “look cool.”

The startup is pretty new, in fact, and its owner group is Megadodo, another unknown company that is working on an MMO game about which is difficult to find any information. This could actually be quite beneficial for Meta, Microsoft, and Magic Leap. Another core target group for this version of the device is also developers. School groups a hundred years from now will be able to ask questions directly and get answers as if that person is with them physically.
