“We want to make a game for the gaming community with the gaming community.”
Developer MyDearest, the same team behind popular VR titles like Tokyo Chronos, ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos, and the upcoming Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate, today announced plans to develop its first multiplayer VR experience and they need your help deciding on which direction they should take.
Beginning now, those interested can head to MyDearest’s official Discord Server and cast their vote for one of three different multiplayer game concepts. According to the company, players will be involved in every stage of the planning process:
- Code: Bell – A 4v1 survival game.
- Code: Camp – An open-world fantasy game.
- Code: Gauntlet – an action-MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) game.
“This is our biggest project until now,” said Alberto Moreno, Head of International Promotion at MyDearest, in an official release. “We’ve been recruiting the best talent in Japan to make this game and to prove that you don’t have to be the biggest company to make the best games.”
“We’re not only making a game for the gaming community, we want to make a game for the gaming community with the gaming community,” added Moreno.“We want people to come to our Discord server and tell us what they want so we can make it. It’s going to be the first game in the industry where the interaction with the community starts from the very concept of the game.”
Those who participate will be automatically entered into the ongoing “Present Campaign” which will dish out a series of cool prizes, including a Meta Quest 2 Steam Gift card, Logitech G Pro X Gaming Headset, Razer Tactical Pro 17.3 Backpack V2, and Secretlab Titan Evo 2022.
This prize pool will continue to grow as more people get involved in the discussion. MyDearest is also on the lookout for new talent who can assist with future projects.
