Just last summer I visited the factories of Boeing, Tesla, Ford, and Louisville Slugger. Software that the current development team building flat, 2D UIs in, say, Visual Studio and C#, simply doesn’t have the skills to build (you need people who have experience with video game engines to do that). Not in many places.
