Kuo says there’s still a “vast” potential demand for VR headsets in China which could be filled by companies with ready access to the Chinese market, such as ByteDance subsidiary Pico Interactive and Taiwan’s HTC. N301 may pack a dozen cameras for room-scale tracking, hand-tracking, eye-tracking, and passthrough AR.

Do you know for instance that I have tried the Vive Pro Eye ? iStaging is one of the companies that I loved the most in Taiwan.

Apple’s AR/VR headset will reportedly begin mass production in March. So if the reports so far are to be believed, Apple’s product will have higher resolution, a more powerful processor, more features, and a slimmer design than Quest Pro – though at a higher price.

Quest Pro has eye tracking and face tracking , so your real-time gaze and facial expression are mapped to your avatar. A total of five internal cameras are present: one for each eye, one for your upper face, and two for your lower face.

The enterprise-focused device all but disappeared in 2018 but has now reemerged and available for purchase, in Japan and Taiwan. StarVR One features a 210º horizontal and 130º vertical field of view (FOV) with a pair of VR-optimized, full RGB AMOLED displays offering 1,830 × 1,464 resolution per eye, serving up 16 million sub-pixels.

Now, we learn INT, a Taiwan-based display design firm, is developing a 2228 ppi AMOLED specifically designed for VR headsets. Announced in a fairly sparse press release , not much is known about the company’s 2228 ppi AMOLED, which is built on a glass substrate.
