Watch Donald Glover, Gillian Anderson, Lisa Kudrow, and more celebs act out unhinged NextDoor thread

Why does this exist? We don't know. Are we glad it does? Unquestionably.

We all love an unhinged NextDoor thread (except the racist ones), but we love it more when you can put faces to those usernames instead of a string of various hypothetical Karens and Kens. Kudos to whichever writer at Jimmy Kimmel Live decided to makes those faces extremely famous ones, and corralled a whole bunch of big names to act out one neighborhood's concerned discussion of some unsavory local activity.

Normally when a late night host promises a bit featuring "Hollywood's most beloved actors" they're stretching the truth somewhat, but may I present: Lisa Kudrow, Donald Glover, Michael Chiklis, Diane Kruger, Giancarlo Esposito, Anthony Carrigan, Eiza Gonzalez, Jake Johnston, Jamie Lee Curtis, Adam Scott, Nick Kroll, Jason Segel, Brian Tyree Henry, Sam Richardson, and Henry Winkler enthusiastically polishing a candlestick.

Are most of these people better known for making TV than Hollywood films? Sure! But who cares? There's even a mini X-Files sort-of reunion, with both Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny showing up. Most are only onscreen for a moment, but they really bring this (purportedly real) thread to life.

So if you've ever wanted to see this specific group of people discuss the best course of action to deal with a neighborhood masturbator, today is your lucky day. And if Brian Tyree Henry doesn't finally get that Emmy for the latest season of Atlanta, maybe he'll get it for his flawless reading of the line "BEAR SPRAY."
