Nintendo Enters VR With ‘Mario Kart GP VR’

A new VR arcade in Tokyo is bringing Mario Kart & 14 other experiences to lucky residents. Next month we’ll see the opening of Bandai Namco’s flagship virtual reality arcade in Japan, VR Zone Shinjuku. The 40,000 square foot facility will launch with 15 different immersive experiences each featuring unique set-ups from hand-trackers to custom cockpit rigs.

Report: ‘Skyrim VR’ Likely Coming to HTC Vive, PSVR Version a “Timed Exclusive”

One of the bigger announcements from Sony’s E3 briefing last night was the announcement of Skyrim VR only for PlayStation VR. Well, it seems that exclusivity may just be a timed arrangement according to some sources and we will in fact see an HTC Vive / Steam VR release. There are many games out there that people would love to come to VR (or perhaps for VR to come to them).

AxonVR was awarded US Patent No. 9,652,037 of a “whole-body human-computer interface” on May 16th, which includes an external exoskeleton as well as a generalized haptic display made out of microfluidic technology. E3 2017: Check Out Six Minutes Of Skyrim VR Gameplay With PSVR

Skyrim is officially coming to PlayStation VR, and E3 attendees are currently getting their first look at the game. One of them was nice enough to record it, too. MasterGamingVR recently posted six minutes of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR footage from the show floor. The player is using two PlayStation Move controllers to work his way through the game, which has apparently been ported in its entirety over to the headset.

The latest trailer the Bandai Namco VR Zone Arcade in Shinjuku, Tokyo reveals that Nintendo may bringing Mario and Co to a Vive Based port of their Mario Kart arcade game. CCP Games is going outside of its EVE universe for the first time ever later this year with Sparc , and PlayStation VR (PSVR) owners will get to try it first. The developer’s team in Atlanta this week confirmed that Sparc will be coming to Sony’s headset first in Q3 of this year. It’s expected to hit both the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift too, but it sounds like fans will have to wait either until the very end of the year of sometime in 2018 to get their hands on it.
